Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust Launches ADAMS: A New Era for Health Data

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) is set to launch the ADAMS platform

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) is set to launch a new data platform designed to help clinicians improve patient care, accelerate research, and strengthen data privacy.

Going live in July, the ADAMS platform will enable approved users to explore healthcare data more easily, identify opportunities to improve quality and productivity, and move from question to insight in minutes rather than weeks.

A key feature is its ability to generate high-fidelity synthetic data, reducing the need to use real patient information while supporting innovation and collaboration. MFT believes the platform will help unlock faster improvement and safer, data-driven healthcare across the Trust.

Pro David Walliker, CDIO, MFT commented “The launch of the ADAMS platform is about giving our clinicians and teams better access to the data they need to improve care for patients. MFT already has a strong track record in digital innovation and data science. This platform builds on that foundation and will help us use data more effectively, support the safe development of AI, and ultimately improve care and outcomes for our patients.”
